CURRICIULUM & POLICIES
Social Events and Parental Involvement
Parents/Guardians are first educators of their children; our aim is to support your essential work. We strive to establish an excellent relationship with parents/guardians and carers by encouraging each family to contribute from their own skills, knowledge, interest, and culture, to the activities of the Nursery. We welcome families who wish to contribute with posters, pictures related to different types of clothing, music, food, cooking, ornaments from Great Britain, different cultures, and countries. We also welcome computer paper (used), for painting, A4 size for drawing, or letters and card paper. We take pictures; make video recordings in the Nursery to keep a record of activities and displays for future Ofsted inspections or to make a collage.
Parent/Guardian evenings
We provide parent/guardian evenings during the year to discuss children's progress and for you to share any information with us, for us to address any concerns you may have. We like to hear your comments so that we can keep providing a high level of care and education for the children. We also like to hear of any suggestions or ideas that you would like us to include in our practise. If you cannot find a baby-sitter we will do our utmost to look after your child at Nursery in order that you have the chance to talk to your child's key-worker.
